Remember when Madonna, draped in the American flag, appeared in a vamping public service announcement for a nascent organization called Rock the Vote? Now, almost two decades later, Christina Aguilera is kicking off the new campaign for the group, but the one wearing the flag is her infant son, Max Liron Bratman.

In the new broadcast ad, set to debut later this summer, Aguilera sings a lullaby of “America the Beautiful” to her son, who was born in January. The Grammy winner said she didn’t think twice about putting her son in the spot because it’s “inevitable that he will be subjected to some amount of press,” so it might as well be channeled into a good cause. “This election in particular is such an exciting and historical one, and so I was proud to have my son and I stand together for such a powerful moment and message in time,” the 27-year-old star said.

Rock the Vote turns 18 this year. Its executive director, Heather Smith, said that more than 850,000 users had downloaded voter registration forms from the group’s website this year.

So..Britney and Christina..Christina and Britney. They have always been compared and have had a supposed rivalry. My question is who did the "I'm now grown up and hot so its okay to wanna nail me" thing better??? In my opinion Christina wins hands down..and will always win hands down over Britney..but this is the closest Brit has ever been to beating Christina..both songs rock and i will let you decide who is best ;)

She comes up with the nickname X-tina,puts on some chaps and dry humps loads of hot sweaty men..and women. Kelis Dropped From Her Record Label!!
First, former NSyncer JC Chasez decided to part ways with Jive Records, and
now, EW has learned, Kelis has been dropped from the label that's home to
Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and R. Kelly. The R&B singer's 2003
album, Tasty, yielded the massive hit "Milkshake," and was certified gold, but
Kelis' most recent effort, 2006's Kelis Was Here, had less success in the
U.S.—despite plenty of guest spots, including a collaboration with her husband,
Nas.

Kelis was originally signed to Pharrell Williams's Star Tracks, which had a
distribution deal in place with Virgin, which was later moved to Arista and,
through the SonyBMG merger, she ended up with Jive. "It was a case of being in
the ever-shrinking world of the record industry and finding herself on a label
she wasn't signed to and without a champion," says Kelis' manager, Jeff Rabhan.
"She's a different kind of artist — very image and style-driven. It's either
something you get or you don't."Kelis has been working on an indie dance record
with Cee-Lo. A full-on pop effort with Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams) will be
shopped around soon. "We're not opposed to another major label deal, but it
would have to be non-traditional," adds Rabhan. Kelis is also in talks to host a
Project Runway-like show on VH1 and is auditioning for numerous TV and film
roles.

Its A Boy For Christina!!
She hasn't even confirmed her pregnancy yet, but Christina Aguilera's already celebrated her impending arrival. The singer's family and friends threw a private baby shower on October 20 in Malibu. Though the mom-to-be has remained mum about her pregnancy, an insider reveals that Christina wants to name the baby after her husband, record label executive Jordan Bratman. "She rubs her baby bump and talks to the baby, calling it Jordy," says the insider.

Chris Brown’s Rihanna lust
Chris Brown has confessed he dreams of dating Rihanna.
The hip-hop star - who worked with the stunning singer on her hit single ‘Umbrella’ -is keen to take their friendship further.
He told America’s Us Weekly magazine: “I’ve known Rihanna for years and I might have flirted with her a little bit at the MTV Video Music Awards.
“We’re just friends. We’re great friends. We haven’t taken it to that next level YET.
“I’m single and ready to mingle.”
However, Chris may have competition for Rihanna’s affections.
Last month, it was claimed she is dating ‘Transformers’ star Shia LaBeouf.

It’s a boy for Christina Aguilera! Or at least it will be when the soulful singer gives birth later this year.
OK! has learned that Xtina’s closest pals are all shopping for some pretty gender-specific gifts. “They’re all boy-themed, all blue,” a source reveals to OK!.
While Christina and hubby Jordan Bratman have yet to confirm that her growing belly bump is actually a baby, Ken Ehrlich, executive producer of this year’s Emmy telecast, let it slip to OK! last week when he said, “We’re very sensitive to her pregnancy.”
A few days earlier, Paris Hilton called Christina “the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world” at a pre-VMA party hosted by the mom-to-be.
